Earth Week 2026 provided another wonderful opportunity for Earth on Us to bring environmental education into the community. This year, our Recycle Right curriculum was featured at the Stillwater Public Library in Stillwater, Minnesota, where visitors of all ages were invited to learn about proper recycling through fun, interactive activities.
Prior to Earth Week, Earth on Us founder Daniel visited the library to prepare the materials for the week-long display. Recognizing that different age groups learn in different ways, Daniel provided both hands-on board games for younger children and electronic learning activities for older students, teens, and adults.
The library received demonstration copies of the Recycle Right board game, giving families with young children an engaging way to practice sorting recyclable materials while learning why recycling correctly matters. For older visitors, Daniel brought a collection of electronic recycling games, complete with easy-to-follow instructions, QR codes, and informational posters that allowed participants to access the activities instantly using their phones or other devices.
To extend the program’s reach beyond the Earth Week display, Daniel also posted a Recycle Right poster with a QR code on the library’s community bulletin board. This allows library visitors to continue discovering and sharing the electronic games long after Earth Week has ended, making environmental education available to even more members of the community.
By offering both physical and digital learning experiences, Earth on Us aimed to make recycling education accessible, engaging, and convenient for people of all ages. Whether playing a board game with family members or completing an online recycling challenge, participants were encouraged to build practical recycling habits they can use every day.

Libraries play an essential role in lifelong learning, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share environmental education with the Stillwater community through such a welcoming and accessible space.
