On August 23, 2026, Earth on Us tabled at the Le Sueur County Fair, sharing the Recycle Right game and our Learn. Act. Make a Difference activities with fairgoers.

Visitors stopped by throughout the day to test their recycling knowledge, complete short surveys, take the pledge, and talk about simple environmental actions they can practice in everyday life.

Thank you to Elizabeth H. and Audrey K., fellow Minnesota 4-H State Ambassadors, and Daniel for hosting the table, welcoming visitors, running the recycling game, and helping youth and families work through the games and activities.

Some of the best moments came from the conversations around the table. Recycling questions often led to discussions about what belongs in each bin and why certain items can be confusing. The pledge activity also encouraged visitors to choose an environmentally friendly habit they wanted to practice more consistently.

We’re also grateful to Le Sueur County 4-H for giving us the opportunity to host an Earth on Us table at the county fair and share our activities with local youth and families.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, played the game, shared their thoughts, and made a pledge. Bringing Earth on Us to county fairs continues to give us a fun way to connect with families and make environmental education practical and interactive.
