Earth on Us is excited to partner with Girl Scout troops in Texas and Utah, bringing our youth-led environmental education activities to more young people across the country. Educational materials sent by Earth on Us were delivered to Girl Scout communities in Texas and Utah on September 12, 2026.
Through these partnerships, Girl Scouts will use Earth on Us activities to explore practical environmental actions and see how everyday choices can make a difference. Our materials are designed to make environmental learning hands-on, approachable, and fun while helping young people connect what they learn with actions they can take at home, at school, and in their communities.
Building Youth-Led Environmental Action
Girl Scouts have a long tradition of leadership, service, and caring for their communities—values that closely align with the mission of Earth on Us. Through interactive activities, participating Girl Scouts can learn about topics such as recycling, reducing waste, conserving resources, and making more sustainable everyday choices.
These partnerships also represent another step in the growth of Earth on Us beyond Minnesota. By providing ready-to-use educational materials to youth leaders and organizations in other states, we hope to make it easier for local young people to lead environmental learning within their own communities.
The arrival of materials in Texas and Utah is especially exciting because the activities will now be placed directly in the hands of local Girl Scout troops. Each troop can adapt the resources to its own setting, allowing environmental education to be led locally while remaining connected to a growing network of young people taking action across the country.
