On August 21–22, 2026, Earth on Us reached another Minnesota community at the Douglas County Fair.

Thank you to Izzy W., a fellow Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador, for hosting the Earth on Us table and welcoming fair visitors. Izzy helped youth and families explore our activities, learn about recycling, and think about simple environmental actions they can practice in everyday life.

Visitors stopped by to play the Recycle Right game, test their recycling knowledge, complete short surveys, make environmental pledges, and explore Earth on Us educational materials.

The hands-on activities made it easy to start conversations. Younger visitors especially enjoyed working through the recycling game, while the pledge activity encouraged families to think about one small habit they could practice more consistently at home or in their community.

We’re grateful to Douglas County 4-H for giving Earth on Us the opportunity to host a table at the county fair and connect with local youth and families.

A big thank-you again to Izzy for taking the lead in bringing Earth on Us to Douglas County and spending two days sharing the activities with visitors. With the help of fellow youth leaders, Earth on Us continues to reach new communities across Minnesota and make environmental education interactive, practical, and fun.
